Hospice Care for End of Life
The Spartanburg Regional Foundation’s hospice division raises funds that enable the Spartanburg Regional Hospice program to provide an extra layer of support for patients and their loved ones. Donations to the Foundation’s Hospice Special Needs Fund help to cover the cost of medications, utility bills and hospital beds for financially qualifying patients. The fund also supports the delivery of meals at Thanksgiving for Spartanburg Regional Hospice families as well as other special opportunities to bring families together to celebrate and build memories.
The hospice division board is made up of community volunteers who are passionate about the mission of Spartanburg Regional Hospice. Together, they bring experience in medicine, business, education and care for the aging. We are grateful for the many ways they support hospice patients and families.

The Pillar for Hospice newsletter highlights the work of Spartanburg Regional Hospice caregivers. It provides perspectives on end-of-life care, shares stories of hope and encouragement, and offers guidance on coping with loss and grief. The newsletter also celebrates the ways that donations to the Foundation’s Hospice Special Needs Fund help caregivers to go the extra mile for hospice families.
