AccessHealth Spartanburg

AccessHealth Spartanburg supports health services for low-income, uninsured members of the Spartanburg County community. Clients are connected with physicians while AccessHealth staff members provide case management to help clients with transportation, housing, and more.

Behavioral Health Fund

The Behavioral Health Fund supports training and education for staff members in the Spartanburg Medical Center Behavioral Health unit as well as funding for basic needs for patients served in the unit.

Community CPR Fund

The Community CPR Fund raises money for community-wide CPR training and events through the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System education department.

Diabetes Management Fund

The Diabetes Management Fund supports education for both patients and caregivers. Programs include classes for uninsured patients as well as one-to-one guidance on diabetes self-care.

Fifty Upstate

Fifty Upstate supports, champions and enhances life for those 50 and older. This collaborative effort provides innovative programs and services for aging adults throughout Spartanburg County. These services include transportation, nutritious meals, physical activity, social interaction, and cultural enrichment.

HERT Fund

The HERT Fund supports the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Emergency Response Team. This volunteer group of staff members provides support for authorities and caregivers in severe weather situations or other crises.

Katie Adams Hodge Healing Arts Fund

The Katie Adams Hodge Healing Arts Fund brings musicians, dance instructors and visual artists to work with patients. Artistic endeavors can promote healing while helping to reduce patients’ stress and anxiety.

Organ, Tissue, and Eye Donation Fund

The Organ, Tissue and Eye Donation Fund supports awareness and education efforts with the goal of increasing the number of registered donors. Activities include informational classes, donor registration events and a candlelight ceremony honoring those who have donated tissue or organs. 

Safe Kids Fund

The Safe Kids Fund supports a collaboration of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and other local agencies to minimize safety risks for young people in the community. Safe Kids Spartanburg provides safety equipment and safety information and hosts bike-safety “rodeos,” car seat checks, CPR classes, smoke alarm campaigns, and more.

Senior Care Fund

The Senior Care Fund promotes quality care for seniors.

Unrestricted Fund

The Unrestricted Fund supports a variety of needs, including Spartanburg Regional Foundation’s annual grants program. Grants are awarded to deserving community organizations and SRHS departments. The fund also makes possible special projects approved by the Foundation’s board.
