With 20 years of experience in the field of teen pregnancy prevention across the state of South Carolina, Polly Edwards-Padgett came home in 2015 to address health needs of adolescents in Spartanburg County. She has been the executive director of a local teen pregnancy prevention coalition and director of assistance for the South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. For the past seven years, Polly has led Connect Spartanburg, a federally funded, 36-partner collaborative that is demonstrating success in reducing the rate of teen pregnancy and promoting the overall health and well-being of adolescents.
When she is not working, Polly and her partner Josh are enjoying raising their two daughters. They enjoy spending as much time as possible in the mountains of North Carolina.
