Hangar B Ball
Each fall the Heart Division of the Spartanburg Regional Foundation puts on the Hangar B Ball. This event features a band that will get you on your feet and have you dancing all night long, as well as a savory barbecue dinner, set in an airplane hangar at the Spartanburg Downtown Airport.
Your $75 ticket includes the entertainment, dinner, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and a t-shirt commemorating that year’s event. Discounted tickets are available starting in August. Past bands have included David Ball, Edwin McCain, Delbert McClinton, Chairman of the Board, Robert Earl Keen, Little River Band and Party on the Moon.
All proceeds from the Hangar B Ball benefit Spartanburg Regional Heart Services.
Festival of Trees
Every November the Hospice Division of the Spartanburg Regional Foundation holds the annual Festival of Trees Auction Gala. This event features live and silent auctions with BMW packages, professionally decorated Christmas items, trips, golf outings, stunning jewelry and much more to bid on. This holiday-themed event also has delicious hors d’oeuvres, festive libations and a lively band to entertain guests after the auctions close.
The Hospice Division of the Foundation raises funds by sponsoring special events, such as the Festival of Trees, to provide terminally ill patients and their families support through the Hospice Special Needs Fund. This fund gives additional benefits and services, not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance, to Hospice patients and their families, and enhances the overall Regional Hospice program.
Tickets for the Festival of Trees are $75.
Mardi Gras Carnival
This Mardi Gras themed event raises money for the Community Healing Arts Program. It will be held February 21, 2012 at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.

Patrons are encouraged to purchase original artwork, as well as themed parties that will be held throughout 2012 in support of the Healing Arts.
The Society of 1921 Gala
The Society of 1921 Donor Appreciation Gala honors Spartanburg Regional Foundation donors that have given $1,250 more in a calendar year. These donors are invited to the gala event in the spring that features a renowned speaker to entertain the crowd. Guests are invited to a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception prior to the speech.
Past speakers have included former President George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush, Tom Brokaw, Colin Powell, Carol Burnett, Rudy Giuliani, Cal Ripken, Jr., Ben Stein, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and, in 2010, former First Lady, Laura Bush. These dignitaries spend time touring an area of the hospital before speaking to Society donors during the evening.
