About Us
The Spartanburg Regional Foundation is a charitable corporation whose primary mission is to benefit the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System through direct support and also through its support of community programs and services that share the Spartanburg Regional's mission of providing quality health care to our community.
Board of Trustees
Spartanburg Regional Foundation Board of Trustees – Governed by an elected 18-member Board of Trustees and also two Emeritus Board members: Katie A. Hodge and Robert A. Harley. These dedicated volunteers help guide the activities of the Foundation to meet the needs of our community. Also serving on the Foundation Board of Trustees are the chairmen of each of the Foundation's three Divisions.
Divisions
Cancer Division – Its purpose is to provide funds for projects, programs and research; increase volunteer involvement; and provide community education and programs about cancer.
Heart Division – Its purpose is to provide funds for projects, programs and research; increase volunteer involvement; provide community education and programs about cardiovascular disease; and provide an opportunity for cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to engage volunteers with community outreach programs.
Hospice Division – Its purpose is to advance service, education, fundraising and disbursement of funds according to the ideals of Regional Hospice.
Other Foundation programs include the Healing Arts Program. The Healing Arts Program offers patients a wide variety of visual and performing arts experiences at Spartanburg Regional and at several health-related community outreach sites.
